The North Bowl Parking Lot is a two phase project will be located on a currently undeveloped site east of the campus Facilities Services buildings and the campus Central Plant. It will include additional surface parking to accommodate campus growth. The North Bowl Parking Lot is a temporary use for this site. Over the long term, the site will be converted into student housing.
Improvements will include:
- Extending Mineral King Road to the east and construction of a reinforced roadbed over the existing penstock
- Grading
- Lot surfacing
- Parking stall marking
- Site drainage
- Night lighting
- Security call boxes
- Landscaping
- Parking permit vending
- Signage
