Commitment and Research

The Archivist should respond courteously and with a spirit of helpfulness to reference requests. The archives should have efficient workflows, finding aids and bibliographic structure in order to expedite the research process.  The work of one researcher should not be discussed with another, and the archivist should remain objective and alert to the needs and timelines of UCM staff/researchers who form part of the archives' constituency, that constituency being one of the purposes for the archives' existence.
