Project Details
Classroom and Office Building 3 (COB3) is a 36,000 ASF academic and instructional facility that includes three major instructional spaces: a large performing arts auditorium, a round lecture hall, and a medium case-style lecture hall. Located on the current Academic Office Annex (AOA) site, COB3 will complete the Social Justice Quad and serve as a central hub for advising services within the School of Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts (SSHA). The building will also support campus-wide student learning services and serve as the new home for the Department of Political Science and the Center for Analytical Political Engagement (CAPE).
COB3 is a three-story structure that includes a mix of academic spaces, meeting rooms, and office spaces. The all-electric building is designed to achieve LEED Platinum certification.
