About PDCM

The Office of Design and Construction Management is responsible for planning, designing, and construction for all capital projects at UC Merced. PDCM strives to ensure that all projects support the campus mission while creating functional and sustainable facilities that complement the natural surroundings of the UC Merced campus.

In addition to managing and delivering campus capital projects, PDCM also is responsible for the physical design framework and long-range development plan for the campus. They manage all FF&E for campus and more specifically the campus furniture program, along with space moves as it relates to capital projects. The campus space inventory is also managed by PDCM. The 2020 Project Operations and Maintenance is also managed by PDCM.
