Stem Cell Instrumentation Foundry

The Stem Cell Instrumentation Foundry (SCIF) Project renovated a portion of the ground floor of Science and Engineering 1 into a research facility for stem cells.

SCIF is housed in a facility which includes Class 1000 and 100 clean rooms for micro/nano fabrication, facilities for human and mouse stem cell culture, quantitative cell imaging, and workstations.  Located on the ground floor of Science and Engineering 1, the facility provides pedestrians with a view of research activity.
